Let's catch-up :)

I am finally feeling a little bit better, but now the boys are starting with it. Apparently this "cold" is hanging around for a long time :(
We have had a beautiful week of fall weather here and the leaves are just beautiful! I love this time of the year... I cannot believe that Christmas is ONLY 48 days away(check out my new countdown timer). I guess this year, I am finding it hard to get in the "mood", probably for a few reasons...The economy is so bad, I am just nervous to even start shopping! Then there is the "first" holidays without my Mom...I am just not "motivated". I know that the boys will be so much fun, I guess it is just getting to the day that seems so hard.....Especially on days like today when Matthew talks about his Grammy and missing her at Christmas and how she gave the best presents ever and will always be the Grandma he ever knew.....
These are from Matthew's Halloween Party at school it was LOTS of fun!
These are pictures from Halloween night at my friend Natalie's. We had two different kinds of chili, hot wing dip and lots more! Michael only went trick or treating to 4 houses, then he was done. I know part of it was he was not feeling well, but he did have more fun handing the candy out :) Matthew had blast, he came back with a FULL bag of loot! The triplets were the three little pigs, and way too cute! I had so much fun feeding them LOTS of candy, and watching them "fly around the house". Our friend Jessica came over too, she is pregnant with her first baby, it is a boy, we are so excited for her!

We went to Thomas the Train on Saturday with our friends, Matt, Julie, Emma, Ellie & Matt. It was fun, but not what we were expecting. It was pretty dusty and dirty and probably not worth the $$. When Matthew was 3 we took him and he LOVED it! Michael seemed to just "like" it and Matt liked it too, but I think they had more fun coming back to our house for pizza, cookie & pumpkin cheesecake :)

Sunday we had an afternoon with the Scouts-a family trip to the park for a leaf hunt and more... It was a beautiful day to be outside and we all had a great time!
Now you know why, I never get well.....too much fun around here!
HA :)
I have added the below, because no matter who you voted for on Tuesday, or who won, this is what really matters....
Top 10 Predictions No Matter Who Wins the Election

God has approved this message!
ISNʼT IT GREAT TO KNOW WHO IS REALLY IN CHARGE!

Wow. you have had a lot going on. a lot :) I will be praying for you this season as you prepare to celebrate without your Mom.

We usually wait until the last minute to buy Christmas presents. This actually saves us money - because we aren't buying a ton of stuff & hiding it & forgetting about it. :)

I hope at this point, everyone is better!!

Cannot believe Christmas is coming so fast....I do love the season, but I hate the stress that comes with it!

I am so sorry about your Mom....it is never easy to move on and the holidays are just another reminder....try to stay strong...sending some hugs your way!!

Looks like you all have been busy!!

Hope you have a relaxing weekend!

Dear Jennifer,
Glad you are better, we had the same thing going on in our house too but somehow I escaped it, thank God!
I can relate about not being excited for xmas, it's been that way for me since I lost my girls on Dec. 9 four years ago... Somehow all the holiday cheer just seems a little silly in the grand scheme of things. You realize that the only thing you want for Christmas is to be with those you love. It is hard, very very hard and I can't imagine how hard it is not to you have your mom with you...

On another note, I love all your pics. That Halloween cake is awesome at Matthew's party. Your Halloween at Natalie's looked like lots of fun too. What is hot wing dip??? I'm having a serious craving for wings! :)
You are one busy girl but glad you stay busy and are well again! :)

P.S. Is the Dave commenting your brother??? Oops, I thought it was your other half! :) Tell him and your boys hello.

We've all had the cold here too. It's been going around and it's a bad one. It's been lasting about a month.
