Hi/Lo Thursday

"Hi/Lo Thursday" posts started on the Riggs Family Blog
(http://www.riggsfamilyblog.com/)
If you have not visited their blog, you should...it is worth the read!
They could really use our prayers right now for Abby & the whole family!

My Hi's this week..

Matthew's class led in chapel this week and he had two speaking parts. I was so proud of him, I was proud of the whole class. It actually made me tear up to hear them all talk about love, and Jesus. I feel so blessed that he is in such a wonderful school, with the best families!
We have a 4 day weekend coming up! Matthew is off tomorrow and Monday! I love days off from school :)

Valentine's Day- I love it! I love chocolate covered strawberries too :)

Abby is coming home....AMEN!

My Lo's this week..

I stumbled across a few new blogs recently and have felt so sad and anxious for these people. I tend to "carry" people's grief with me. This has been a lo for me this week for sure.

http://www.lifeasacferswife.blogspot.com/ -A Father/husband who is dying from cancer. http://thebenjamites.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html This is about losing baby Gracie.

http://themcclenahans.blogspot.com/2009/02/leaving-legacy.html The Mac and the loss of their precious 10 month old, Cora.

Please keep these families in your prayers!

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.

(Psalm 23:61).

I too carry all that grief with me but you have a much bigger heart than me...I can't even read those stories because I'll be so sad and can't get out of it. There can be so much heartache in this world...I love how you reach out and request prayers for those who need it. I will keep them in mine. Congrats on Matthew doing so well, no surprise there! :)
Have a wonderful 4 day weekend and Happy Valentine's Day to you!

I am with Lucy on this one...I cannot bring myself to read those blogs....it stirs up to much of my past and makes me so sad and agree.

On a more positive note, so happy for Matthew...I am sure you were so proud of your boy!! Hope you all have a wonderful VDay and enjoy some of those chocolate covered strawberries!
